Project Description

This 203,000 square foot facility consolidates the engineering, mathematics and computer science departments into one building. The structure is cast in place concrete with brick veneer and the roof is steeply pitched to recall the "Collegiate Gothic" architecture most commonly associated with college campuses.

Most engineering labs are located on the first floor of the four story element with several of the labs opening into an enclosed courtyard. Classrooms, computer labs, electrical labs and faculty offices are dispersed throughout the remaining floors of the building.

The building contains two auditorium/lecture spaces. The smaller of the two seats approximately 140 in lecture type seating with integral desks. The larger seats 300 in theatre seating.
